It's Grey!

Last night we saw Tom Pappas, a comedian at UP Comedy Club. Have I mentioned how much we love walking the two blocks there? :)

He was our favorite yet! He started out his set by saying that we aren't going to talk about the weather, because he spent all morning on the Morning TV Show Circuit here promoting his weekend shows, and I guess that's what they kept asking him, "So, how about the weather?" (Incidentally, Drew mentioned that he wants to have a shirt made that says, I like the weather just fine, because that's all his co-workers ever ask him. Being from FL, we kind of have a target on us for that question - but honestly, it's not that bad. It is what it is.)

So anyways, Tom Pappas says we're not going to talk about the weather, but we are going to talk about the Grey. And we all lost it, because that is the worst part about the winter. On either type of day, you really don't want to go out, if it's Sunny and -20 - you're not going to leave home if you can help it, but same if it's 20 and grey and snowing hard. So, if you're stuck indoors, on the brutally cold days, at least it's sunny :) 

Last Sunday we took a walk downtown, and these pictures show the depth of grey we've been living with. I feel like when Spring hits again this blog will be beautiful and vibrant again, but in the meantime, you'll have to suffer along with us, and enjoy the grey :)

These two bottom ones are the hotel we stayed at when we came up for the interview, and made the life changing decision to move. Whew! Really glad we did….even with all the grey :)
